Media and Identity: The Bathroom Wall: Introduction: Is Perception Reality?: I believe that this is blog was right on.  I believe that our perception is our reality because it is the only way that we look at the world is through our own perception so it is our reality.  I believe that when our media is being completely controlled and everyone is buying in to it equally it is easier to go with the flow and accept this as reality because everyone accepts it and requires no extra work of self to connect with others.  I am saying that by accepting this as reality it is easier to connect with people around us because we are all working with in the same guidelines and there fore can have a building block to go deeper if the conversation goes that direction.  So I do believe it shapes our perception but I believe that it (media)  is necessary for everyone to be able to connect and feel a common bond.
